Famine 30 @ HICT KLANG 2010

Good news!! Now the registration for the camp is officially open!! Here are some of the registration procedures:

1) Registration forms.
- If you are from HELP International College of Technology (HICT), you can get the forms from the Student Service Department (next to Marketing Department) from Jonathon, Abu or Wee Onn begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
- If you are not from HICT, you can send an email to v.onn.lim_seon@hotmail.com to request for the softcopy of the registration form. Then you have to print it out and fill it.
- For those who are under 18 years old. You need to fill up the consent form as well. You can get this from the Student Service Department or through v.onn.lim_seon@hotmail.com

2) Registration fee.
- Once you've completed your form, you need to contact the camp leader to register with the camp leader:
- English & Chinese Camp Leader: v.onn.lim_seon@hotmail.com
- A RM20 registration fee will be collected from you. This registration fee is the camp organizing fee (transportation to and fro from HICT to Bukit Jalil Stadium Putra for countdown, t-shirt, etc etc...). The camper will need to pay it from their own pocket.

3) Donation booklet.
- Once we receive your completed registration forms and registration fee, a donation booklet will be issued for you to raise donations. This donation you've raised fully goes to the World Vision fund, not for the camp.
- You will need to raise certain amount of donation in order to join the final countdown in Bukit Jalil Stadium:
- For students and senior citizens (55 years old and above): RM80
- For working adults: RM120
- You are only allowed to ask for donation from your family members and friends.
- No door-to-door asking for donations and asking donations from someone whom you don’t know are allowed.
- All donation booklets and donations must be returned to the camp leader by the 24th of July 2010.

4) Receipt.
- Once you return the donation booklet and the donations to us, we will issue you a receipt.
- This receipt must be brought along on the camp day for registration purposes.

Please ask yourself when was the last time u help people in poor?? fasting for 30 hours is not trying to torture you or watsoever, but simply because we are too comfortable with our lives now and we are given a chance to experience how the poor feel.. so i could NOT find any excuse to say NO...to 30 Hour famine. Light up their lives ^^
